The Arque team
Arque’s founder and managing director is Bernard Keogh MCIOB. Bernard has 20 years experience of managing construction. His approach is dynamic and client friendly.  
Around him he has built a team of people with similar values and complimentary experience. He is involved in every contract to ensure a high level of service, excellent quality of work and he remains the point of contact for all clients.
At the core of Arque are experienced managers and highly skilled craftsmen. Take a look at our people page for profiles of some of our staff.

Arque is a private, independent company not bound by corporate systems and therefore able to be flexible and quickly responsive to our clients needs. We aim to find ways of reducing costs wherever possible while maintaining professional and contractual standards.

Our management approach is professional and co-operative; we are serious about working with our clients to get it right, and we also want to enjoy what we do.

Professional Kitemarks
Arque Ltd is a Chartered Building Company. This status cannot be bought. Rigorous qualification requirements are in place for all CBC executive directors, who are expected to ensure the continuous development of their staff at all levels. We sign up to the Charterd Building Company code of conduct which gives clients confidence in our approach.

Arque is registered with Constructionline as a pre-qualified construction company. Constructionline annually monitors the financial position, health and safety arrangements, equal opportunities compliance, training provision and other aspects of the companies on its register and information is made publicly available.
 
Our Environment
We seek to reduce our carbon footprint: we actively minimise and reduce waste, we reuse and recycle materials wherever possible. Not only is this good for the envronment, it makes us more efficient. We are aiming to implement our EMS this year and become accredited to ISO 14001.

Health and Safety and Training
We have been accredited by the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme - CHAS. To achieve this we have employed independent safety advisors to inspect our sites. We carry out regular H&S training to maintain awareness of issues and exceed the requirements of legislation. All site staff and managers hold CSCS cards.

Arque is committed to training our staff.  We want our people to enjoy their work and fulfill their potential. From our youngest apprentice to our most experienced manager we invest in relevant training.
